The Department of International Business (IB) started its journey in 2007 to develop skilled human resources with strong analytical and decision-making abilities and an understanding of the diverse and contemporary global issues. The department is multidisciplinary in nature, and courses integrate key principles of business practices alongside the impacts created by different cultures, languages, political structures and economies. The undergraduate major in International Business culminates in a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. In a post-graduate degree, students may undertake either a regular Master of Business Administration (MBA) program or Evening MBA in this department. It also offers Master in philosophy (M. Phil.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees for students interested in academic research. Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and Master in International Trade and Business (MITB) – two specialized degrees programs have recently been introduced at the department for professionals with work experience. Currently there are 25 teachers and about 1300 students in the department. All classrooms of the department have modern audio-visual equipment for effective teaching. Moreover, students can use online library facility of the University through department’s own computer Lab. All these efforts support a smooth academic journey for the students studying in the department.
