Dr. Md. Ruhul Amin is working as a Professor of Nutrition and Food Science at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Dhaka. He received his BSc honors and MS in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Dhaka and then Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Colorado Denver, and PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Tech University. He is a public health nutritionist with more than 14 years of experience in designing and conducting nutrition and epidemiological studies. His research interests focus on food security, food and nutrition policy, nutrient adequacy, worksite nutrition, maternal and child nutrition, nutrition education, urban nutrition, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. His key areas of expertise are quantitative and qualitative survey design, program evaluation, data management, secondary analysis of large survey data, and dietary data analysis. He has a track record for publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Ruhul has been serving as a reviewer of some journals.Show less
