Vice-Chancellor and President of Charles Darwin University (CDU) of Australia Prof. Dr. Scott Bowman called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today June 02, 2022 at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by Mrs. Anita Bowman, Vice-President of CDU Ms. Jenny Roberts and Dean of the College of Engineering, IT and Environment of the same university Prof. David Young.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of DU Prof. Dr. A S M Maksud Kamal and Registrar Probir Kumar Sarker were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on environment, engineering and information technology between the University of Dhaka and Charles Darwin University of Australia. They also discussed about the possibilities of introducing joint degree programs between these two universities.

            DU VC Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guests for their visit to and keen interest in undertaking joint academic and research programs with Dhaka University.
