An Orientation Program was arranged by the Executive MBA Program, Department of Management, University of Dhaka
The Department of Management at the University of Dhaka announced the orientation program for the 7th batch of its Executive MBA (EMBA) program. The event took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Dr. Abdulllah Farouk Multipurpose Hall of the Faculty of Business Studies.
Leading the guests were several eminent academics and industry professionals. Prof. Dr. Mahmood Osman Imam, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, served as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were Prof. Md. Ali Akkas, Prof. Dr. Faruq Ahmed, and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Thoiful Islam, all from the Department of Management, University of Dhaka. Mr. KSM Minhaj, Country Director of Asian Paints Bangladesh Ltd., was the Guest of Honor, while Prof. Dr. Nadia Newaz Rimi, Coordinator of the EMBA Program, presided over the ceremony.
Representing the organizing committee were Dr. Mohammad Thoiful Islam, Professor & Chairman, and Dr. Nadia Newaz Rimi, Professor & Coordinator of the EMBA Program. The orientation welcomed new participants and outlined the program’s objectives, academic expectations, and opportunities for collaboration with industry partners.
