WMO World Weather Research Programme (WWRP) meeting on PEOPLE’s project in Switzerland
Dr. Fatima Akter, Chairperson of the Department of Meteorology at the University of Dhaka, participated in the WMO World Weather Research Programme (WWRP) meeting on the Progressing EW4All Oriented to Partnerships and Local Engagement (PEOPLE) Project, held in Geneva, Switzerland from 10 to 12 June 2025.
This significant event convened global experts to enhance early warning systems through inclusive partnerships and community-focused approaches. The meeting featured engaging discussions, the exchange of experiences, and the development of actionable strategies to advance the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative.
