Seminar on Capital Market Investment for Limitless Growth
The Department of Marketing at the University of Dhaka, in collaboration with BBA 32nd batch student, successfully hosted a distinguished professional engagement and learning session titled "Capital Market Investment for Limitless Growth" was held today, August 11 2026 at the Professor Dr. Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall, Faculty of Business Studies. Patronized and coordinated by Professor Dr. Samir Kumar Sheel.
The program bridged the gap between academic theory and industry practice by bringing together an eminent panel of top-tier executives from LankaBangla Securities PLC (LBS PLC). The speakers offered students a rare, high-value window into capital market investments, financial strategy, corporate risk management, and financial sector career trajectories.
Mr. Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Managing Director of LankaBangla Securities PLC, delivered the keynote address. Drawing from his extensive leadership tenure, he provided deep insights into the structural evolution and strategic milestones of the capital market.

The concluding segment featured an interactive Question-and-Answer (Q&A) session and closing dialogue led by Mr. Khondoker Saffat Reza, CEO & Director of LankaBangla Securities PLC engaged directly with student queries, offering forward-looking perspectives on market trends. He was joined by Mr. Wasif Habib, Deputy Manager of Risk Management, who provided a grounded, pragmatic analysis of corporate risk assessment and prudent financial decision-making.
