Three CSE Faculty Members have been honored as Distinguished Research Scholars by the University of Dhaka
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka, is proud to announce that three of its distinguished faculty members – Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Professor Dr. Hafiz Mohammad Hasan Babu, and Professor Dr. Chowdhury Farhan Ahmed have been honored by the University of Dhaka in recognition of their outstanding research contributions and significant citations in Google Scholar.
The University of Dhaka honored 62 teachers and researchers whose research outcomes received more than 2,000 citations on their Google Scholar profiles at a ceremony held at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban on 27 August 2026. The recognition reflects the remarkable contributions of the honorees to research and to enhancing the international visibility and academic reputation of the University of Dhaka.
The Department of CSE warmly congratulates its three esteemed faculty members on this prestigious recognition and wishes them continued success in their future research endeavors. The department also hopes that such recognition will encourage the fellow colleagues and students to work harder for better research outcomes.
